Starting from this month until the end of August, we need to go back office and working on every Saturday. So, today is our first day of working on Saturday for this year but we only work for half day.

Me and TTM start our “Japanese food hunting” for this month at Fukurou Japanese Restaurant as our lunch. You see, he is really addicted with Japanese foods. Although Fukurou is so near to our office, but he never had the chance to have meal there. Finally, he decided to have lunch at there.

Opposite of Wisma Damai Point, where we work
Most of their foods are not available. I was so desperate to order Tori Teriyaki Maki but too bad.
At the back of the menu, they even included the nutrition information

As for today lunch, both of us intend not to order heavy meal and just order sushi and maki.

From clockwise: Mushi Ebi Sushi, Tuna Mayo Sushi, Tamago Maki, Kani Kama Sushi and Shake Sushi.

California Maki; RM10 for 6

Korokke Moriawase; RM12.90 per dish and 30% off for members

Ebi Tempura Crepe Maki; RM12 for 6 pieces. The omellette taste so sweet and delicious. Thumbs up for this.

Ocha; either hot or cold cost RM1.50 per cup

Finally, their dessert served FOC =D
Good news for the members! 30% of for their new menu for this month ONLY.
So, what are you waiting for? Go and apply as the member to enjoy the great promotion.
P/S – I am not being pay to promote this. =P But I am really enjoying their foods.

>If not mistaken, the last time I met my very best friend, Kai Wee a.k.a Chris was during Eunice Meow Ling’s convocation which held in KL last November of year 2009.

Kai Wee, me and Jenny in Pavilion. Damn miss them so much.

That’s me and Kai Wee

My bestie during my college life

Last few weeks, she reminded me that she will stopby at KK from Miri before took off to Taiwan on the next morning. She told me about that once she bought the ticket last year and she had to remind me again because of my STM sickness. ==lll

Something stupid and funny soon to be happen if she didn’t remind me.

DT: Hey, Kai Wee! Reach KK airport yet? I reached airport liao and waiting for you outside.
KW: Huh??!! I’m at home lah
DT: What??!! Your flight not reach KK from Miri at 1.30 pm meh?
KW: Abuh!! My flight is at 11.30 pm lah. The 1.30 pm flight is when I about to back from Taiwan!

You see, this will happens if she didn’t remind me regarding her flight schedule. Somemore, I had apply my half day leave just to fetch her but her flight is at night. Luckily she told me earlier or else, I will be like an idiot people waiting for her and I will be wasted my annual leave too. Lol~

In between, there is funny story happens with my leave form. After I knew about her flight schedule which did not crash with my working hour, immediately I cancelled my leave. I requested from HR department to return the leave form to me. Yes, she did that and I took it with me. Before I left the office, I couldn’t find my leave form. That is on Friday. So, on Monday morning, I searched for the leave form again and told my colleague who is in Tax department regarding my leave form had lost. Not until after lunch time, he told me that he knew where was my leave form. Guess where’s my leave form? Is it with my boss? Nope. Is it return back to HR dept? Nope. The answer is I accidentally passed my leave form to my client. So silly am I. Such a careless lady. Shame of me. Luckily, my client is a nice and kind lady that she even offer her office boss to return the leave form to me. The whole office laughed at me when they heard that.

Then at night, Kai Wee’s flight safely landed KK airport from Miri around 11.30 pm.

Kai Wee with her huge luggage

Brought her to Fook Yuen, Damai to have supper, in case scare she is hungry ooo… Morning at Damai, then night at Damai again. Really another Lol~ Actually, I sucks in thinking where to bring friends and relatives where to eat. So, simply bring her there to taste of Fook Yuen infamous homemade bread.
They call this as Roti Kaya. I prefer the original 1 because it is so soft.

Reached home almost 1 am and both of us talked talked until almost 2 am. She asked me to apply leave on the next morning but I refuse because I told her that I had no problem to work in the next morning even sleep for 3 or 4 hours.

Woke up around 3.30 am and send Kai Wee to airport at 4 am. After accompany her to wait for her friends to reach airport, I went back and the time is almost 5 am. Since there is few hours left, I decided to sleep back until 6.30 am. What Kai Wee said is true! I really can’t woke up at 6.30 and at the end, I decided to message HR dept telling that I am OFFICIALLY taking half day leave. Cancel the leave on Monday noon but replace with Tuesday morning. Lol.

Looks like I am not proactive compare as previous time. Even I sleep for less than 4 hours, I still manage to wake up and go to work but now I can’t. Seems like I’m getting old.

Anyway, even I managed to met Kai Wee for few hours only, but I’m glad and damn happy as this remind me of our time during in college life. I can’t wait for her to come back from Taiwan on 8th of March.

Oh ya! Since TTM knew I was at home, he went to my house to have lunch with me and my family before both of us went to office at 1pm. So coincidentally, he was in field audit today and his client went off early before lunch time. 🙂

>Unlike most of my usual day on Saturday, yesterday could be consider one of my busiest day.

Morning

Woke up at 9.30 am because I promised my high school teacher to help her for the school co-curriculum activities. Until now, I’m still active with my Girl Guides Association by guiding and teaching those gals between 13 to 16 years old from different high school most of the weekend at the headquarter. So, my high school teacher request me to give speech and explain the stage to achieve the highest award in the Girl Guides Association. I’m quite nervous and I’m almost numb too because the last time I’m giving the speech in front of the audience was 2 years ago. Some more, no early preparation because I received the SMS from my high school teacher on Friday noon. Luckily, the speech end within less than an hour or else, I’m sure I’m barely breath.

Afternoon

After half an hour conversation with my high school teacher (since both of us had not met for almost 3 years), I went to find TTM as he plan to buy cloth for tonight annual dinner. Last minute shopping again~ We went Suria Sabah because I had discount voucher worth RM10 to spend at Trio Apparel Shop. Before begin to search for the cloth to suit tonight dinner’s theme, we went to have lunch. Guess where we end up to? Sushi Tei – which was my second visit but his first visit to have meal at there. Lol @_@. Both of us seems like addicted to have Japanese meals recently. So, proudly to announce that this is my 7th times to have Japanese meal for this month.

Love to have their dessert but I think is overrated. Maybe next time…

Tamago Mentai Mayo; cooked omellete with cod roe

Ebikko Tempura Maki

Inari Kani Mentai Mayo; cooked inari, crab meat with cod roe

Like most of the local Japanese restaurant, their sushi is based on colour code plate. White colour plate cost RM2, blue cost RM4, green cost RM6 and etc. However, there are few unusual sushi that can’t find in other Japanese restaurant such as Tamago Mentai Mayo and Inari Kani Mentai Mayo (as pic above) which I think the taste is so special and taste nice too in between.

Then after, reached home around 3.30 pm and preparing for the night. Tonight theme is “The Joy of Spring”, so must dress up something that related to the spring season.

I’m almost all in pink that night. My dress was pink, my scarf pink and even my earring was pink too. This dress I bought almost 5 years ago from my friend and wore for 4 times only.

The accessories to complete the dress code theme.

Evening

TTM fetched me around 5.15 pm because I need to arrive at Magellan by 5.30 pm. I’m one of the committee and also in charge of the programme rundown for the night with the help of my manager. It’s really tiring to stand in the position I was because there is so many things I need to manage in order to ensure that everything is going well with the programme that we plan and make sure everything is run smoothly.

Besides MC, the drawback of becoming programme runner was the foods that we eat were less than other. I think yesterday night I had missed out one of the dishes but luckily that is not my favourite dishes. Not only that, I think I had not done well because in the middle of nowhere, there is few programme needed to be changed without any notification. A schedule of the programme rundown had given to me but I lost it in somewhere else.

Anywhere, thank God! The dinner was over exactly at 10 pm and all the programme was successfully implemented, although not in the way we want it to be. Hopefully most of them enjoy the night together with all the lucky draw prize that given away.

More picture and details of my Company Annual Dinner 2011 will be in the next post. I don’t want to make this post to become a superb duperb long post.

Gosh~ This month I’m really having Japanese foods like mad. This is the 6th round just for this month. But I don’t know why I never get bored with Japanese foods even if I eat almost everyday. Looks like they had put the spell on me.

There are reason behind why I plan to have Japanese foods again for the 6th round.

TADAAA…. Sushi Voucher from WoJama Japanese Restaurant

Did you saw the expire date? That’s why I must immediately fully utilise it. I received this voucher from my dad. My family went WoJamama branch located at Lintas last month with my relatives who came from Brunei. And they ate up until the foods cost RM450+++…Wah!! 7 people for RM450. They must be eating a lot. But too bad I didn’t join cause I already promised to have dinner with TTM that time. WoJamama is so stingy ooo… A bill cost RM450+++ must give at least 4 sushi voucher worth RM50 but they just gave 1 to my dad. Usually, when you ate RM100 and above, they will give you a RM50 sushi voucher. So, they should give more mah….

By the way, this is the 5th time I’m receiving this voucher from them and there is once, I totally forget about it and there goes my sushi voucher …… This time around, I keep reminding myself or else, I would !@#$%^&*.

Me and TTM visited WoJamama branch at Asia City because according to the terms and condisions stated in the voucher, it is only valid in Asia City and 1Borneo. 1Borneo is a bit farer from the place we stayed and worked, so we decided to have at Asia City. TTM was having their bento and I plan just to have the sushi. No more heavy meals for me again. (==lll)

Inari – sweet beancurd sushi. This is my all-time-favourite sushi which I keep mentioned in my blog.

All Wojamama sushi is half price if using the voucher.

Our dinner for the night.

The dinner. The voucher. The member card.

>Kan I said I will go eat Japanese foods for the fifth time? LoL!

During lunch, me and TTM had no idea what and where to eat so, we ended up eating Japanese foods again. When we browsed the menu, we noticed that the price had increased. TTM ordered Beef Teriyaki after I showed him that it’s Kaze new menu. Meanwhile, I plan to order their maki because I’m still on diet. Don’t want eat too heavy meals.

Tamago Maki

Tamago Yaki

Tamago from Kaze is so sweet, soft and mostly its delicious too

Kani Kama Maki

I loves Maki so much. Now I’m craving for maki again~

As today I plan to search for screen protector for my iPad at Karamunsing, we decided to have our dinner somewhere nearby. Without any doubt, my first choice will be definitely Miso Japanese Restaurant. This elegant Japanese Restaurant caught my attention when me, TTM and his friend were having lunch at Mint Peppermint, Karamunsing Capital last Wednesday. Damn likey likey Japanese foods recently. By the way, so far I’m having Japanese foods for the 4th time.

The first three round that I had were also in this month of February. First round was at the newly opened Sushi Tei, Suria Sabah with my deariest. Second round with my family at Sushi King, City Mall. Still remember on the day of this year Valentine’s Day – which I’d had dinner at Recipe House, Damai. Maybe there will be fifth round before end of this month. [=.=]

Back to Miso. Let’s the picture do the talking.

This reminds me of the current drama which I watch lately in Astro on Demand.

TTM’s meal; Oyaku Jyu (Simmered chicken and egg with sweet and sour sauce). He asked me to made decision for his meal, so I ordered this.

My meal; Chicken Soup Ramen

Another maki again, Tori Teriyaki Maki (Vinegared rice with cucumber, Teriyaki chicken and mayonnaise fish roe). It’s so huge that I can’t put it into my mouth for the first bite.

Our dinner ends with dessert.

Miso Japanese Restaurant (16)
Cold barley dessert with peanuts and beancurd. It’s so refreshing and sweet.

Overall, the foods are excellent and tasty. Especially the Maki. There are variety of Maki and I almost can’t made up my mind which to choose from for our dinner. Besides Inari, Maki is also my all-time-favourite when comes to sushi. So, how much we pay for tonight dinner? It cost us RM72.60 for 2 people. With the attentive services and also not forgeting to mention that the appetizer and dessert are complimentary, it is worth every ringgit you pay. But I’m still consider whether to come back for second visit, unless I hit jackpot.

Where should I start from? Okay, I woke up at exactly strike 12 pm. Not public holiday given by my Company neither or I purposely take leave just to celebrate this V day. Now it sounds more like I anti Valentine’s day. No, I’m not, okay. Just I am seriously damn sick and pay doctor visit on the night before Valentine’s day. So, the doctor ask me to have a good rest and giving me MC. Yeahooo, this means I no need go to work on Monday.

As usual, either on weekend or public holiday or when I’m not working like yesterday, I will directly go to my living room. That’s where my laptop is. But wait, I saw parcel from Pos Ekspress written my name on it. So, i turned to the back to see who is the sender. Quite surprising when it was send by my ji mui, Ling Liong Sung. Oh yeah, “he” version type of Ji Mui. Hehehehe… Never expecting anything from him by the way. So I immediately opened it to see what’s inside.

Recipient: Me 🙂

Sender: Ling Liong Sung; all the way from Sibu, Sarawak

So, what’s inside the parcel. Tadaaaaaaaaaaa…….

A cute teddy bear from Korea and earring from Russia

Love this one especially, Teddy bear with Korean costume

He went Korea last month from Russia before stopby Malaysia for CNY. For your information, he is currently working at Russia (which I ever post this during his farewell) and how sweet to receive such a wonderful Valentine’s gift from him during this day? Thanks a lot, my friend and I’m feeling pai seh (embrassing) at the same time for not giving him anything when I was travelling to Hong Kong, Japan or even Taiwan last year.

Since I woke up late, it’s time to eat lunch before eating medicine with empty stomach. How wonderful to know that every time I’m sick, my mom will cook porridge for me. Somemore, my favourite porridge; pork with egg. Good thing of being sick was you will be treat like a princess. 🙂 After finish the whole bowl, now it’s time for the worst part of being sick which was eating medicine. 😦 No one ever like to eat the medicine.

A porridge cook with motherly love to her dearest daughter

After eating the medicine, I feel so sleepy. Forget to mention that the doctor told me that after eating it, it will makes me sleepy. So, I continue to sleep after watching drama on Astro on Demand. Try my best to awake before end at episode 4. Sleep until 6pm, then I heard I had received sms. When checking my phone, I realised I had a missed call from TTM. OMG! My SMS ringtone is much louder than my caller ringtone. Should change it. And I’m totally forget I promised to have dinner with TTM on the night of Valentine’s day.

DT: Hello! Sorry for answer your phone. I was sleeping like a pig.
TTM: It’s OK! So how’s tonight?
DT: Tonight? Your mom cook?
TTM: Nope
DT: Erm, did you ask for tapao?
TTM: Nope

Looks like I can’t fong fei kei him or else he will be in deeply hungry for sure. So, immediately I rush to clean up myself before ready to have dinner with him. By the way, this is just a normal dinner like we have as usual. Both of us plan to have Japanese food as our dinner. Oh yeah, both of us like Japanese foods recently. We decided to have dinner at Sushi King, Citymall but too bad, it’s full house. From what I saw, it’s not crowded with couple but a group of family. Looks like Valentine’s day is not for couple to celebrate but family do so. I love that feeling.

Since Sushi King full house, so we decide to try our luck at another Japanese Restaurant; Recipe House at Damai. Seems like most of the Japanese Restaurant are full house including Hana Japanese Restaurant, Citymall. Looks like Japanese Restaurant is the best place for couple to celebrate their love during Valentine’s Day cause Paparich and Old Town are not full with crowd. So lucky for us that we able to get a seat in Recipe House. Or else, we don’t know where should we heading to.

Notice his T-shirt? Ninja which I bought for him from Japan 😉

After dinner, went to his house to watch movie. Before stepping to his house, there is fireworks again around his house area.

The fireworks is for the celebration of CNY or Valentine’s Day??

Then, I went to his room and guess what? I saw a colour cube box made out from paper on his table. I’m guessing that he is so damn free and got nothing to do, so try to make a cube box using colour paper. With surprise, he turns the cube colour box into THIS:

Origami Magic Cube Rose with my favourite colour on it, Blue

I was stunned for a while and totally speechless. Although it’s not a bonquet flower but this is sincerely from him. Like my friend said, love is not meant to be burn a hole in the pocket. It’s all about sincerely from the heart. Somemore, a real flower won’t last for long but this origami magic cube rose did. Hahaha…

Thanks to you, TTM! Although I’m sick, he managed to cheer my life with giving me a little tiny surprise.

There goes my superb duper long story on the day of V day 2011. It’s just a normal day which I’d been through everyday. Like I said in my previous blog, EVERYDAY IS VALENTINE’S DAY. So, how’s about yours?

>Just came back from movie “The Tourist” at Suria Sabah with TTM.
It is our first movie for the Year 2011.

The movie acted by Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. Anglelina Jolie is awesomely gorgeous in the movie. I just can’t blink my eyes when watching her in the movie. The movie is not bad at all. Worth to watch as both are truly Hollywood A-list celebrities.

The other things that I amazed in this movie was the place of this movie being shot; which was in Venice, Italy. Venice is one of my favourite place when travelling around Europe.

Back to Year of 2008 where we took Gondola in Venice, Italy

Venice is one the place you must visit before you die.

The year of 2010 is the year of tiger in chinese calender, which is also the year I was born. This year may seems to be a good year but too bad there are some not. Here is the recap of the my 2010 history:

It starts with a bad beginning of the year. My family and I lost the closest family member; which was my beloved grandfather. He is the one who closest to me as he stayed with my family and I since the day I was born. Maybe God loves him so much. I’m really miss him until now. He never scold or even beat me. The thing that I regret the most was I promised to buy a 3R photo album for him but I failed. Sorry, my dearest grandfather. I will always remember and love you. Both of us have similarities which are both of us love taking photo and camera. I bought camera more than handphone.

However, I met someone special and cheer my life since then. I start a new relationship and there is a cheecky story behind. It’s all regarding to a dream.

Then, it’s Chinese New Year and it falls on the same day as Valentine’s Day. Double Celebration! Due to the sad incidence, my family and I didn’t celebrate CNY as merrier compare to previous year. But thanks to TTM, it was my first ever Valentine’s celebration.

Surprised Valentine’s Bear from dearest TTM

The following month is the month of Pisces, and its my birthday. Early on the month, a really blast and surprised birthday from my *deariest*. I won’t forget that day at all. There is a video being recorded but too bad, the size of the video is too big.

Besides that, it’s my officially one year working in my current working place. Works start to overloaded. Oh no~~~

For my globe trotting, I went to 3 countries in a year.

1. Sweet Summer Getaway to Hong Kong and Macau with my beloved TTM and my collegemate, Vincent and his colleagues. Its my third visit to Hong Kong but first visit to Macau.

2. Adventurous Autumn Japan Trip with my university friend, Nicole. Thanks for the invitation. By the way, Japan had never in my 3 years travelling list as Japan is famous for the higher living expenses and most of the things is so so so expensive. But since got people invite me and it’s a one in a lifetime opportunity, I grab this chance and backpack with my university friend, Nicole. Most of them thought we are joining the travel agent but we are proudly to tell u, that we’re not. 2 brave little ladies are backpacking by their own. I’m really enjoying backpacking and this reflash back of my Europe trip.

3. Wonderful Winter Taiwan Trip. Celebrate this year X’mas with my family in Taiwan. Love Taiwan so much. That’s end of my year end trip of 2010

Last night, it’s New Year Eve. My boss invite us to his baby full month celebration in New Wong Kok Restaurant.

End my Year 2010 by went to TTM house to watch fireworks from his house. Thanks so much on the last day of 2010. Although it’s just simple but it means a lot to me. 🙂

A New Year
A New Start
