>Mother’s Day celebration is this weekend. So how is your preparation to celebrate for the one who sacrifice everything just to provide the best and love for you?

Every year, my siblings and I will bring mommy for dinner and we also will buy a gift for her. Instead of doing the same celebration every year, I decided to bring my mom to Green Connection on last Monday, which was the replacement holiday for Labour Day. When she knew that I am going to bring her there, she is so exciting (like a litte kid). Hahaha…

The Green Connection is an aquarium and ec0 theme park of Sabah. In a nutshell, Green Connection offers eco-treasures of Sabah which featuring over 500 species of animals.

“Say No to Shark Fins Awareness Campaign”

Do you know that actually shark fin does not bring any nutrition to human body but content mercury which may cause sterility in men if consumed in extremely large quantities. Shark fin may also harm pregnant woman too.
After the show, mommy and I continue to the other zone where you can touch and up close with the marine species.

Puffer fish or ikan buntal (in malay).

I called it “balloon fish”. By the way, this fish is not edible and don’t simply eat it if you go for fishing because it believed to be the second-most poisonous vertebrate in the world.

Green Connection is not just served as a center for you to get up-close and see the animals, there even got a “Science and Life Dome” where you can learn and play at the same time.

Not forgeting before leaving Green Connection, there is souvenir shop for you to grab unique and cute gift for your beloved family and friends.

T-shirt, soft toys, postcards, books and lots more is available in their Souvenir Shop.

Happy Holiday everyone! Never thought we are almost in the middle of the year. Can’t imagine that time really fly so fast. Ok, right now I gonna bring you all for “Bits & Bites” time. By the way, I am not a good food reviewer but I love to share my food post with you all. Happy reading!

Su Ra Sang, located on the first floor of the D Junction, not only served Korean cuisine but they do served Japanese cuisine recently.

Initially, I thought they only served Korean dishes even thought my brother told me that he saw there is salmon and sashimi printed on their promotion banner but still hard for me to believe. Not until I read Shin Chan post, ok so i made up my mind and inform my family and TTM to go there to have a try. And now they are having buffet promotion. For just RM30++ for adult and RM15++ for childen, you can eat as much as you can until you full but remember, unfinished foods will be charged.

IMG_2959
Their menu for the buffet promotion

For your information, this is not a normal and typical buffet style. Instead of table placed in public area filled with various of foods and where you can pick and select foods you want (at first, this was what in my mind), but Su Ra Sang served in different way. You need to order the foods from the menu first and they will serve it to your table later. What I do for this? I request for a piece of paper and pen, then I wrote down all the list of foods I want. You can order as many times you want and there is no limitation. But I would like to stress here again, leftover foods will be charged as there are 2 ladies experience this on the night we dined in there.

Recently, Vietnam seems to be one of the place to visit by most of my family and friends. My parents just went Vietnam last Monday and too bad, I can’t join because it was uncle and aunties tripconfused.

Good things, they brought me sourvenirs from Vietnam.

IMG_2935
All are not mine. I can only choose 1 from it. Which do you think is nice?
IMG_2936
Another keychain and fridge magnets to add in my collection. Someday, I will show you my collectionlol
IMG_2938
Finally I had made up my mind of which to choose from. Thanks daddy and mommy!

Not forgeting, my best friend, Andrew had also been to Vietnam last month for 2 weeks. So cool man! How I really wish to join him? However, even thought I can’t join him for the trip, but a lovely and warm postcard from him during his trip there. THANKS Andrew!

Lastly, I would like to end this week entry by announcing SUSHI KING is BACK with their RM2 Bonanza Promotion again!

sushi king bonanza rm2

There are few bad comments on their sushi which is not fresh and their rice are not so sticky, but with the price of just RM2, I just don’t care (although I am one of them who complaints about the rice) to stuff my stomach with the cheap sushi and satisfy my craving and addiction on Japanese foods.

This promotion starts tomorrow for Sabah and Sarawak and ends till 21 April. Exclusive for card holders only. Don’t miss it.

I guess that most of the bloggers had post about this and I hopes it is not too late for me to blog about it. For your information, this is my overdue entry again. Ooopsss, I did it again!

I’d been to Boston 又一城, Karamunsing Capital for four times. This place was introduced by one of my deariest, Wawa and I think it is one good and comfortable place for you to hang out and having dinner with your beloved one, family and friends. One thing I like about here is varieties of choices from foods to beverages. Just one of the drawback is only few selection of desserts are available.

So, in here I would like to compile all my pictures which I took during my last 4 visits in 1 entry in order to avoid from you saying “Wah! Boston Again???!!!

Part I

First time went with my deariest. I was impressed with their appealing menu and caught my attention to visit for second times.

Pic of Boston itself

I went yesterday night with my lil bro and TTM for dinner. Why no any pics of foods this time around? Actually during my first 3 visits, I didn’t manage t0 capture the first 4 pics (as shown above) and also their menu. For your information, the first 4 pics I just took yesterday before enter the restaurant. And when after finished ordering the foods and about to start taking the pics inside their menu, the waiter approached us and spoke politely “Sorry miss. You can’t take it”. OMG! or I can said WTH! I’m not gonna stealing any of your secret recipe and open my own restaurants. I just want take a few snapshots and share in my blog. So after the unfortunate incidents, no mood to take pics at all. sad

So, next time I will take snapshots using my hp twisted. Good idea leh…

Have you ever wondering how many kids you plan to have after marry? Or even wondering how many boys and girls you and your spouse would like to have? Maybe sometimes things is not under our control but I’m sure everyone ever thought of that when you are just little kid or even grow older as times goes by.

For me, I would like to have 2 kids. My friend asked why and my answer was “So that when travel, taxi is enough for me, my husband and 2 kids.” Funny answer leh? My collegemate gals ever discussed this during last month CNY and one of them said she likes to have twins. That’s sound pretty interesting. When we heard of that, we thought that maybe one goal will be easier than experience the pain over and over again. Not until when she said, “My kid will very kasihan (pity) to go to school alone. So if I born twins, then he/she got accompanion.” Lol~ We laughed non-stop in the car.

How come I crap about this so suddenly? I never ever thought of posting this until I met a small cutie little gal last few days. My mom’s aunt and her husband happened to visit KK last Sunday from Kuching. They brought along their granddaughter. At first, I didn’t plan to entertain her as I was so busy to edit my Company annual dinner pics as you can see, I haven’t post any entry of that yet.

But she was standing there, so quiet and just keep starring at my puppy. So, I decided to move my ass and asked her whether want to play with my puppy. Within few seconds, we 2 get along well; together eating Sarawak “kon lo mee” and drink Vitagen on the table which I put my laptop and doing my work.

Megan, the cute little gal who loves pink so much

My dad brought them to New Wong Kok Restaurant for brunch. Loves their dim sum

We even brought them to Sutera Harbour for a walk.

See how adorable she was?

Megan and her grandmother, which was my mom’s aunt

On the first day Megan went to Sutera Harbour, she keep saying “I want swim. I want swim. But I didn’t bring my swimming costume. Jie Jie, do you have?” Erm, actually I do have but it was long long long time ago and my mom doesn’t remember exactly where she put.

But her wishes come true on the day before she left KK. My dad brought Megan and her grandparents to island. What’s shocking me was 6++ years old little gal know how to snorkelling? OMG~

That’s her and my dad. See how far how deep they went?

Even though she swim non-stop for whole day, she is still active and very energetic. Yesterday night, after dinner, we went to Lido Food Court. What I like about this little gal was she is obedient and a good gal. At first, she want order “Ice Coffee” and share with me but I can’t drink coffee late at nite. Yeah, the time is almost 11 pm and if I did drink coffee, I guarantee I can’t sleep for whole night. So, I told her I want yam milk tea and she said “OK”. You see, she so obedient one.

She drank the yam milk tea I ordered.

By the way, Megan is pure chinese but her skin is dark like me 🙂

Today, she went back to Kuching but the sad thing was I unable to say goodbye to her. Damn the traffic jam along the way from Lintas to Lido. Very stupid one.

After spending with Megan for this few days, I was thinking, how I wish if I have a daughter, she would be like Megan – cute, smart, adorable, obedient and intelligent? By the way, Megan can speaks lots of language and dialect in her age. At first, I thought she only know English and sometimes spoke Hokkien not until when she ask me why I buy reload in Mandarin. So smart this girl. She is easy to get along too and she is not those type that like to stick with her mommy and daddy like other kids.

And now I start to miss her. Megan, Jie Jie miss you so much. Wish you could come to KK again.

A top, a belt and a sandal which I grabbed last Sunday while shopping with my Queen =D

What a lovely day I had when accompany my mom for shopping together on most weekend. Well, you tell me which lady doesn’t like to shopping, right? Both of us shop from the head to the toe but we never shop till we drop. Just too bad, sometimes the clock tick tock too fast and the shopping hour is so limited as my mom need to go back home early to prepare dinner.

So, what is my best ideal weekend? Besides shopping, my best ideal weekend is enjoy relaxing at home by sleeping continuously. Before I start to work on Saturday, if the time do not reach till 10am, I won’t wake up one. Its a big NO for me! Unless I had appointment with someone. But now, too bad I can’t lying more longer on my bed on Saturday because I need to work. =(

Wonder why there is only 2 days in weekend and now my weekend seems like not enough because of the half day working on Saturday. Apart from that, I keep wondering why there is only 7 days per week and not 8 days per week, so that we can have 3 days off on weekends. Here goes my day dreaming again. Lol~

For a working individual like me, every weekday is like a mathematics to me. Starting with Monday, sure non-stop countdown to reach till Friday or in my newest case, Saturday. Seems like everyday will countdown for the day to past by with my colleagues.

Let’s back to the story. I also love to spend my weekend by dating. Yeah, baby! Even me and TTM always meet each other and even sometimes almost 7 days a week but we never really had the real time for the just 2 of us only. So, weekend is the best time by hanging out, watching movie and etc. *wink*wink*

Not forgetting, having the wildest moment with my crazy deariest on weekend is the best moment to get rid off all the pressure, tension and stress that I had for the past 5 days. In deed, they are truly and madly crazy deariest I ever had in my life. Sharing the madness laughter and also funny but sexy stories. You go, gals~

What irritating me the most is sometimes, my weekend distract by something which I’m not interest with anymore. How can I shopping with my mom when I need to do something between 2pm – 4pm? Every Sunday, it’s my family day where my family and I would have breakfast together. Or I can said brunch together. So, most probably our brunch ends around 12 pm and we will do whatever we want. My dad will either sleep, watch TV or read newspaper meanwhile my 2 lil bros will playing game. Then, my mom and I will go for shopping. With the inconvenient time, how can I shopping if like that? My mom is a busy woman. She is only free on Sunday as she need to work on Saturday too.

Sometimes, I even asked to apply leave purposely just to attend few events which I don’t think is important in my life currently. As standing in my current age, the most important now is to have a stable career and in the stage of building strong and stable relationship. But, I just don’t get it why that related party doesn’t try to understand and tolerance with my current situation? Even when I’m seriously sick, I still being forced to attend or join whenever she asked to.

The main problem within myself is I don’t know how to say “No” to that related party that I don’t feel like I want join or attend anymore. Haiz. Don’t know why it seems like so hard for me to open my mouth and tell that party honestly regarding what I feel. Hopefully one day I hope that party will understand.

>1st February 2011

He is finally 50. Hahaha… So funny when everytime my friend asked me, “How old is your dad?” and when I start to do the maths, I realised my dad not yet reached the middle age. =p

OK, another post dated blog again. Initially, my dad’s plan was brought us to have dinner at his favourite restaurant nearby Hilltop but unfortunately, it closed. I keep requesting, “Dad, brought us to Hana leh” but he refused. Then, suddenly in the middle of nowhere, it popped into my mind and said, “How’s about having steamboat?”. All of them said, “What a great idea!”. Gosh, there goes my diet plan failed! But since my sister had never went to these cheap and worth steamboat, so I just go on with their plan. This is my fifth visit.

Located at Taman Dixon, you will see it is totally crowded every night.

See, so many people and sometimes you even need to wait for a seat

You can choose 2 type of soup at a time as there has 2 compartments and my all time favourite would be chicken soup and tom yam soup

It’s boiling and now it’s time to put into the mouth.

Variety of raw foods. There is prawn, crab, meat, variety of fish products and lots more.

And if you are hungry while waiting for the soup to boil, there is ready cooked dishes like fried rice, chicken wings, roasted pork, fried wantan and lots more.

They even provide dessert such as ice-cream and variety of fruits.

The price list. But beware, for those unfinished foods will be charged RM5.00 per 100gram.
This is to avoid of wasting uneaten foods.

Steamboat buffer is always fulfilled your stomach with satisfaction. We are definitely full that night. A birthday celebration wouldn’t complete without birthday cake.

Chocolate Fudge Cake – homemade cake by my sister.

“Happy Birthday to our beloved daddy”

With love,
Mom, Diana, Linda, William & Charles
